And lucky Ryan Reynolds did just that after dozing off on his motorbike.

The 23-year-old actress roused her sleeping fiance with a rub to his tummy and a playful pout when he took a nap while she went shopping.

The newly engaged couple are obviously madly in love and couldn't keep their hands off each other on a ride to Malibu on Ryan's vintage Triumph motorcycle.

Ryan couldn't even wait for the young starlet to take her helmet off before leaning in to give her a long loving kiss.

During the romantic trip they stopped for lunch before putting on their riding gear to head to their next destination - the shops.

Scarlett went for some retail therapy at the Hidden Treasures Boutique, while Ryan chose to stay out front of the store and take a rest on his bike.

The star announced her engagement to Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds earlier this year but she claims she won’t be rushing down the aisle.

Speaking on the Jay Leno show, she said: 'We're just enjoying our time. We're just recently - very recently - engaged. So… we're just taking it easy. And no big plan yet.

‘I mean, I'm 23. There's no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed.’
