Kate Beckinsale showed off her toned figure as she enjoyed a family holiday in Mexico.

The actress looked stunning as she larked about in the sea with her director husband Len Wiseman and nine-year-old daughter Lily.

The sporty 34-year-old – who has become best pals with Victoria Beckham since her LA move –  joined her family for a spot of snorkelling in Cabo San Luca.

The star had previously shown off her body in a bright orange bikini, keeping her sunglasses on as she headed into the waves.

Kate recently admitted that she is shocked that critics and film fans have accepted her as an action heroine in films like Underworld and Van Helsing. 

The actress - who is the daughter of British comedy actor Richard Beckinsale - said that she only took on the roles because they ‘scared the c**p' out of her.

'It still amazes me that people actually watching me with a gun didn't just burst out laughing,' Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

'I can't even play ping-pong, but it turns out I'm good with weapons. I've got enormous hands, like a transsexual, and that's probably why,' she added.

Beckinsale is set to play a US marshal tracking a killer in Antarctica in the £25million drama Whiteout.
