Whether it's suits, jackets or shades Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes see nothing wrong in co-ordinating their outfits.

And the pair are now taking out it even further - stepping out in the same jeans during a family day out with daughter Suri in New York yesterday.

Katie's departure from the skinny jean look has become her trademark in recent weeks and she's sported an array of slouchy jeans on more than ten separate occasions.

But Tom, not to be outdone, proved he still wears the trousers in their relationship during their latest outing. 

It's not the first time the couple have picked the same outfits. Proving the old adage that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery the couple see nothing wrong in stepping out in matching clothes.

From leather or suede jackets, to matching suits, Tom and Katie co-ordinate their looks.

According to Tom and Katie's stylist, Jeanne Yang, the jeans they are now sharing are from part of the Prps. denim range which features a camouflage lining and turned pocket detail. They do indeed belong to Mrs Cruise's husband.

But Katie may not have to keep borrowing Tom's jeans for long as the clothing brand is launching a women's range this autumn.

The family have temporarily relocated to New York while Katie gears up to star in the Broadway production of All My Sons.
