Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi looked a picture of newlywed bliss as they took a romantic walk along Malibu beach yesterday.

The dressed-down pair, who exchange wedding vows in an intimate L.A. ceremony last month, strolled hand in hand on the foreshore as they felt the sand between their toes.

They bumped into fellow star Gavin Rossdale on their travels, who was accompanied by son Kingston, 2. Rossdale's wife Gwen Stefani and newborn son Zuma sat this trip out.

After their nuptials last month, TV host DeGeneres, 50, revealed she was happier than ever:

She said: 'What can I say? I'm the luckiest girl in the world. She's officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she'll cook and clean for me.'

The pair are now contemplating starting a family, with de Rossi, 35, saying: We go back and forth. I don't know if it's our immediate future. It's something we talk about every few months.'

Adds DeGeneres: 'It's something we would never take lightly and just say, "That would be fun." It's a lot of work and we recognize that,' says , 50.

'In a way, we want to be selfish because we love our life, but we know how much that adds to it.'

She concludes: 'If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina's kids, we might.'
