Controversial singer Katy Perry looks as if she's not content to just kiss the girls as she donned a sugar pink wedding dress during a video shoot.

Although as the writer and performer of hit song 'I Kissed A Girl', it's not clear whether she would be kissing the groom or one of the bridesmaids.

The leggy American was seen walking on the set of the video for follow-up single 'Hot and Cold'.

It wasn't all plain sailing though, as while Katy walked from her trailer to a church on set, one of her handlers stepped on her dress causing her to trip.

But she soon regained her composure, and happily waved to fans.

The 23-year-old, who's antics include leaping of into the crowd at a gig to kiss a 16-year-old lesbian fan, is still at the top of the charts for the fourth week in a row with her worldwide hit.

Katy, who was raised in a strict religious household in Santa Barbara, she insists she's not your average bubblegum pop starlet.

She said: 'I don't care who I'm compared to as long as people listen to the music.'

American born Katy’s parents, both evangelical Christian preachers, recently spoke out to say they are deeply ashamed of the star for ‘promoting a sin’.

Her mother, Mary Hudson, declared: ‘I hate the song. It clearly promotes homosexuality and its message is shameful and disgusting.'

But clearly the famously uninhibited singer has no plans to change her behaviour.  She recently stripped off to have a plaster cast made of her 32DD bust in front of MTV's television cameras.

But it was all for a good cause - the cast will be sold to raise funds for breast cancer research on website Keep-A-Breast.org.
