They say the first year of marriage is the hardest.

But Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have passed the 12-month mark and by the looks of things, are more in love than ever.

And as imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, the basket ball player chose to demonstrate his devotion by copying Eva's neck tattoo.

Inscribed with the number 'nine', denoting Tony's shirt number, the French player was sporting the tattoo on a night out with his wife at the IWC party in Paris.

The Desperate Housewife looked stunning in a bustier and pencil skirt - further dispelling recent pregnancy rumours.

Refreshingly, Eva recycled the outfit she wore last week for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

The star spent the better part of the show flirting with British presenter  Russell Brand - but either her husband didn't catch the shameless display - or he doesn't suffer from bouts of jealousy - as he appeared relaxed and happy in her company.

The couple were officially married on July 2007 with a lavish wedding in Paris.

Their marriage had its first ordeal two months later  when Victoria's Secret model Alexandra Paressant claimed to have had had an affair with Tony

In a statement  by Tony at the time, a spokeswoman said: 'I love my wife, she's the best thing that has ever happened to me and I have never been happier.

Eva added: 'Tony has been nothing short of a perfect husband. The claims are100 per cent false and untrue.'
