It's becoming a rare sight to see Kate Moss painting the town red these days. So it's little wonder she was keen to let her hair down last night after she rocked up at the Punk nightclub in London's Soho.

Arriving with musician boyfriend Jamie Hince, the evening started well for Kate, 34, who was modelling a shorter new blonde hairdo.

She and Hince were dancing and drinking champagne in the club's VIP area. But things soon turned sour.

Both Kate's hair and the night got a bit messy as the model emerged the worse for wear

Within minutes Kate and Jamie, 39, obviously had an argument. He was spotted storming off out of the club, leaving the supermodel chasing through their fellow revellers to catch up with him.

She returned to the club alone, but 20 minutes later Jamie, too, came back.

The pair were chatting to various people instead of each other.

Just after 4am Kate left via the club's front entrance to make her way home with a friend in a waiting car.

Jamie, who left shortly afterwards, came out through the back, where he hailed a cab.

Arriving home in St John's Wood, their argument obviously put him in a bad mood as he pushed a photographer out of the way with such force he hit a nearby wall.

The Kills guitarist then slammed their front door shut.

Let's hope Jamie's not starting to regret their matching anchor tattoos.

Earlier he flashed the anchor tattoo on his right wrist which matches one Kate has, giving a clue as to the intensity of their relationship.

The couple have just returned from a break in Ibiza where Kate first unveiled her new look.
