Like mother like daughter: Nicole Kidman's bundle of joy shows off ginger tinge

Updated 09:50am on 16 Sep 2008

Nestling against her famous mother’s tummy, little Sunday Rose Kidman showed she has inherited her mother’s stunning strawberry blonde hair.

The ginger tinge was clearly visible as Oscar winner Nicole Kidman carried her two-month old daughter in a papoose in London yesterday.

Miss Kidman has said of her baby: 'She is like a doll – a little, little thing.'

In the genes: Sunday Rose has inherited the ginger tinge from her mother

Mother and child – along with Miss Kidman’s burgeoning entourage – visited a theatre school next to the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

Miss Kidman has been in London for the past three weeks with her daughter, since she is working on a new movie here.

She has been putting in a full day of work at Shepperton Studios in West London from Monday to Friday every week, where she has been rehearsing for her new movie called Nine with fellow actresses Penelope Cruz and Kate Hudson.

She is spending evenings learning her lines in an apartment associated with a top London hotel.

She has accumulated a remarkable entourage for her stay in the capital – consisting of a nanny, a chef, a driver, a bodyguard and a PA.

On Saturday morning she also went shopping with her baby on Portobello Road and joined friends for tea at the Dorchester.

Miss Kidman, 41, is expected to be in London until Christmas. She gave birth to Sunday Rose, named after Australian art collector Sunday Reeve, on July 7th in Nashville, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband Keith Urban.

Kidman has described Sunday Rose as being 'like a doll - a little, little thing'

The Australian actress has two adopted children with ex-husband Tom Cruise – Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13 – and she and Urban reportedly plan to move to LA to be closer to them.

Mr Urban has spoken of his love of being a father. Urban, 40, gushed shortly after the birth: 'We’re still experiencing the pure bliss of welcoming her into our lives.

'We’re all doing superbly well and continue to be overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and well wishes we are receiving.'
