It's all smiles for Keira Knightley as she spends quality time with boyfriend Rupert Friend

She's just been touring the globe to promote her new film The Duchess.

But film star Keira Knightley appears much happier spending some quality time with boyfriend Rupert Friend.

In fact the 23-year-old says she is not really that bothered by the glitz and the partying which her Hollywood career affords her.

'I don't like showbiz bashes very much. I'm not sociable and I seldom, if ever, set foot in any London clubs.

'I went to Vanity Fair magazine's post-Oscars party last year but I just stood in the corner, drinking champagne. I have very few real showbusiness friends,' she told website stv.tv.

Knightley was spotted with her arms wrapped around Friend in London, looking very much in love.

She was carrying a brown Prada handbag and wore flat black-tipped Chanel shoes.

But Friend, who starred in the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice with Knightley, is not the only thing that makes her heart skip a beat.

The actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Pride and Prejudice, revealed recently that she also has a weak spot for beautiful, extravagant shoes.

'If I see a pair of shoes that I adore and they haven't got them in my size, I still have to have them.

'My boyfriend Rupert Friend and I just bought a house together in Richmond, Surrey, and it might not have a lot of furniture but it's got a lot of my shoes!'
