It's a Devil to wear Prada

Updated 13:09pm on 24 Sep 2008

This is one pair of designer heels that should come with a safety warning.

Teetering: the awful moment when the model's foot came out of her shoe

In scenes reminiscent of Naomi Campbell's infamous 1993 catwalk tumble, not one, but two Prada models tripped over their shoes in Milan yesterday.

Another one bites the dust: a second wobbly model gets a lift from onlookers

Onlookers, including-American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, watched in horror as the girls lost their balance in their towering snakeskin stiletto sandals. They even had to be helped to their feet by members of the audience during the Italian designer's ready-to-wear spring/summer 2009 show for Milan's Fashion Week.

Maybe Miuccia Prada, who, received a standing ovation for her collection, may need to rethink the slippery "pop socks" which slid about inside the shoes and proved to be the the models' downfall.

Would you like to die for your fashion? I think not.

If those seasoned pro's couldn't walk in them, how the hell is Josephine public going to accomplish that huh?

Well, if they actually ate something - they might have a better chance of making it down the walk.
