Will Young is the latest act to be added to a huge star-studded charity concert that will take place in December.

The London Lite can exclusively reveal that the singer will join the Pussycat Dolls, Boyzone and Lemar on an evening that promises to be one of the biggest gigs of the year.

Capital Radio's Jingle Bell Ball is being backed by the Lite and will raise money for London's needy children.

More acts are to be announced later this week, with all of the artists performing on the same night at a huge party at the O2 Arena in Greenwich.

Capital breakfast hosts Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon will be revealing the other drawcards on their show from 8am every day this week.

In the zone: already confirmed for the concert on 10 December is Boyzone, as well as Lemar

Vaughan said: "This will be a huge event, and a chance for Londoners to start celebrating Christmas early with some of the best acts from around the world performing under one roof. I can't wait."

New girl band The Saturdays, who include two former members of S Club Juniors, are also on the bill, as are Irish rockers The Script.
