Updated 12:42pm on 2 Oct 2008A happy and healthy-looking Britney Spears got in a playful mood with some fans as she paid a visit to their school in the Bronx, New York.

Proving to the world that her troubles are now well and truly behind her, the 26-year-old singer looked radiant as she posed for pictures and larked about - a far cry from the sorry figure she cut a year ago after she shaved her head, piled on the pounds and went into rehab.

It was considerate and possibly heart-warming that she took time out of her schedule to visit a public school, but the whole visit is totally distorted. This is a school and community that is 99% Black Hispanic and yet, there are only a couple of people of colour in all of the photos. Isn't that odd?
