Alexa's back on the decks, and on Form

She manned the decks at the launch party of Form menswear at Harrods in Knightsbridge. The skill and talent of celebrity DJs was there for all to see - just look at the concentration on her face as she presses the play button on the CD player.

Still, it's good to see her back in action. We reported yesterday how she did not show for a £4,000 DJ set at Proud Gallery on Wednesday night, cancelling at the last minute due to work commitments.
Alexa was also knocking about last night with Peaches Geldof 's ex Faris Badwan - surely no better company for him to forget his old flame.

While I can't comment on Alexa Chung's skill as a dj having never seen her, it's a bit ignorant to suggest that dj's don't use cd's. CDJs (for mixing cd's) have been around foy years and lots of djs use them as cds are less heavy to cart around than vinyl, amongst other reasons. Also, while djs should learn to work their equiptment and some excel in technical mixing, the most important thing of all is the music you play and whether you've got the right tunes with you to get people on the dance floor. Whatever their technical skills, many of these celebrity djs do seem to be able to do that.
