Zac's it! No more musicals

Zac Efron has broken the hearts of millions of screaming girls by announcing there will be no more sequels in the High School Musical film franchise.

End of an era: no more High School Musicals

He sent thousands of fans nuts at the Leicester Square premiere of High School Musical 3: Senior Year last night, where he was joined by fellow stars Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Jemma McKenzie-Brown.

Zac said: "Our characters have graduated. It's unfortunate but we all have to grow up sometime and now it's our time." What about University Musical, Zac?
