Noel wants a Tory government

Updated 14:08pm on 8 Oct 2008

Noel Gallagher says he wants the Conservatives to win the next general election - but only because he thinks the music scene is better when times are hard. He said, "I'm praying for the Tories to get in. There was that great moment in the mid-Nineties where everything was great, and music was great but it doesn't last for long."

Speaking his mind: Noel Gallagher

"It'd be nice if there were stormy clouds ahead. It'll be alright for the likes of me obviously because I'm fabulously wealthy. No credit crunch for me." OK, rub it in Noel.

Well it's nice to hear such a considered and intellectual opinion. What an idiot...

Noel's right about the music and the arts! Noel is actually pretty insightful, I listen to him on Russell Brand all the time-- Noel should have his own chat show! He remembers what it was like to be poor.
