Victoria Beckham proved she is still the No1 WAG as she jetted to London in style.

Taking inspiration from her idol Audrey Hepburn, the 34-year-old emulated the Breakfast At Tiffany's star's monochrome style in a fitted black dress and white collar. Christian Louboutin black stilettos and her trademark oversized sunglasses completed the look as she tottered through Los Angeles airport.

That Aud Black magic: Posh in Hepburn basic black

Posh was on her way to the UK to support husband David as England beat Kazakhstan 5-1 at Wembley on Saturday. Beckham set up the fourth goal in the World Cup 2010 qualifier.

Before leaving for LAX, Victoria was snapped dropping off her three sons - Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six and three-year-old Cruz - at the city's £12,000-a-year Curtis School.

Always snapped in killer heels, Victoria admitted this weekend that living in LA has changed her personal style. "I have a pair of flip-flops now," she said, adding that she wore them in public, to Disneyland. "I so rarely wear flat shoes and everyone went crazy, but the last time I went to Disneyland I wore heels and it was incredibly uncomfortable running around after the kids," she added.

Er Nl (London)....Mrs Stickham herself has gone on record as saying that the beautiful and elegant Audrey Hepburn was her ultimate style icon and this is not a case of the papers embellishing a set of pics with a story. Is it just a coincidence that she's cut her hair a la Ms Hepburn? Is it again a coincidence that she's chosen a satorial palette and silhouette not disimilar to Audrey Hepburn? Even down to the over sized black sunglasses!...Come on you can't be that naive? Victoria Beckham is the most disingenuous fashion victim there is. Everything she does is calculated and executed with a masterful precision - from the posing to the pouting! As a result this renders her efforts as laboured, trite and contrived. Herein lies the difference between Audrey Hepburn (the effortlessly elegant, glamourous and talented and award winning actress) and Victoria Becham (the skeletal, meglomaniacal, publicity loving, fame addicted try hard).
