Christina Aguilera was meant to be the star attraction of the night, but it was former US Secretary of State Colin Powell who stole the show.

Beautiful in every single way: Christina during her 10-song set

Colin took the stage last night at the Africa Rising Festival, held at the Royal Albert Hall, and blew the 27-year-old performer out of the water with some... shall we say... interesting dance moves.

Dressed in a conservative black suit, he left audience members stunned when he suddenly broke into song and dance while on stage with African star Olu Mountain.

Powell to the people: Colin Powell throws some wild shapes at the Africa Rising Festival last night

And when Colin wasn't stealing all the limelight, Christina did her best to sabotage her own performance by appearing to leave the stage before her set was finished.

During her dazzling 10-song show, she left the stage telling the audience, "Thank you so much", then quietly adding "I'll be back". Unfortunately, many in the audience thought she had finished and started to make their way out of the venue.

An onlooker said: "Christina did a fantastic set and the crowd were loving it but a lot of people seemed to think she had finished and started to leave." Last night was Christina's first show since giving birth to Max Liron in January.
