There’s life after Madonna for Guy
By Robert Mendick Last updated at 09:51am on 24.10.08So this is what life after Madonna does to a man. Guy Ritchie could barely contain his joy as he made his first public outing since the official announcement of his divorce from the pop star.
Ritchie does not appear to be suffering any great divorce disorder. In fact, last night he was laughing — possibly all the way to the bank.

Special guests: Robert Downey Jr, Guy Ritchie, Sam Taylor-Wood and Jude Law at Taylor-Wood's Yes I No exhibition at the White Cube Gallery
Ritchie could be entitled to up to half of Madonna's estimated £300 million wealth after eight years of marriage. Madonna, meanwhile, is said to be so angry she is seeking Kabbalah counselling to control her rage at her eventually-to-be ex.
Last night cap on head — rather than in hand — Ritchie attended the private view of artist Sam Taylor-Wood's new exhibition at the White Cube gallery in Piccadilly. Ritchie, 40, took with him the two stars of the new Sherlock Holmes film he is shooting — Robert Downey Jr, who plays Holmes, and Jude Law, as Watson.
Taylor-Wood is also suffering her own marital trauma, having announced last month that her 11-year marriage to White Cube's owner Jay Jopling had also ended. For a decade they have been the art world's golden couple and it was therefore not surprising that Taylor-Wood, exhibiting at the gallery for the first time in four years, should attract her own cast list of celebrities, including actors Hugh Grant, Daniel Craig (his arm still in a sling from an injury sustained some weeks ago) and Benicio del Toro.
Meanwhile, Madonna, 50, currently on tour in Canada, was reported to be VERY, VERY CROSS over his alleged money demands and details of their relationship leaking out. A source told the Sun today: “Madonna is very angry with Guy — she's furious that he feels entitled to get lots of cash while she's working her ass off on tour.”

Probably Susan's comment was completely random,Janey C...relax!Anyway, this is just one of those news when there is no news. Should Guy Ritchie appear crying on every newspaper for the rest of his life? i think most of us have gone through a break up and understand we all want to go on with our lives. He is just as human as her.

On a lighter note, that 'tasche on Jude Law is the funniest thing!

Why is it so many mindless people always blame the woman?! Madonna still tours because she's talented and millions of people around the world want to go and see her in concert. She still dresses in skimpy outfits because thats how she has always dressed, its her image, why should she change that. I too think she's gone too far with the execising but thats up to her and nobody elses business and she hasn't been airing her dirty linen in public, she's made one upset comment and said absolutely nothing more. What is it with this pathetic Madonna bashing that goes on?!

I take it Susan, London is meaning the contributers to this page???? and if so I also take it that she is including herself in that category?? as she obviously reads, reacts and comments on the items???
Oh and Suzy, London the difference between Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Mick Jagger etc and Madonna is that the guys dont constantly feel the need to show us their crotch, wearing next to nothing and showing off a grotesque body at every opportunity! And neither do they feel the need to belittle and drag their dirty linen out in public, not giving a moments thought as to how it will affect the children!
That's the difference between Madonna and men of her age. Its not sexism at all it is the fact that most folk are sick to the back teeth with her carry on, it may work in America but not her! Go home Madonna your tedious!!!!
And well past your sell by date!

What a bunch of losers frankly

Sorry, but why all the madonna-bashing? So they're getting a divorce. If I am not mistaken - Guy chose to be married to her for that long - she didn't have a knife to his throat - so spare us all the 'ooh poor Guy' nonsense please... Good on her - she should aim to find a fit american hunk and forget this useless rubbish so-called 'director' who is frankly nothing but a pint swilling moron...

Who is looking after the children while Madge is on tour? She won't let their father do it.

So it's ok for rockers such as the Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Led Zeplin etc. to carry on touring and 'writhing about on the stage' but not for a woman more than a decade younger than them.
I think this is sexism, pure and simple - if she sells tickets then that's enough to warrant her continuing to tour for as long as she likes.
I hope he doesn't get a penny.

Ha! Yea Gads Ns,
dont beat about the bush, tell us exactly how you feel about her why dont you?????

That must be novel for Guy to have a life after (Prima) Madonna as he didn't seem to have much of a life with her.

Wouldn't you be glad to get rid of that annoying, talentless old granny/ tranny. He deserves her millions for putting up with her for this long. She'll probably poison the kids against him since she's that vindictive, manipulative and controlling.
Shoudn't she be looking at retirement homes for pensioners instead of slithering around on stage cavorting with kids young enough to be her gran children?

She is on tour because she craves attention, as do alot of pointless celebrities.

Morning:

With a single dessert and just two glasses of wine our bill was kept in check - but the effort of doing so was not much fun
