Duffy meets Whoopi for fresh Sister Act

The Mercy singer told the US actress that her 1992 movie Sister Act was her biggest musical influence. Speaking on The View last night, Duffy said: “Actually this is a bit weird sitting here — I'm getting a bit star struck. My first introduction to soul music was, believe it or not, Sister Act. We only had four TV channels in Wales and Sister Act made it onto the TV and that was really my first introduction to that sort of music.”
Whoopi replied: “I like that but how... why?

I loved both Sister Act movies myself. I do not think it was "soul music".
Great 60's Music from my era . Good music in the next one . It was a very "feel good" movie for me. Whoopi had a surprisingly good voice.
