Dannii left in the cold at Simon's bash

Dannii Minogue claimed categorically this week that there was no rift between her and her fellow X Factor judges. But she might want to amend her statement after being left out of an X Factor dinner last night. Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole went for a private meal at Mr Chow's in Knightsbridge after the National Television Awards - but there was no room at the table for the Aussie singer.

Absentee: Dannii at the awards ceremony

All four judges were at the awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall, and sat together in the audience. Their show missed out on the Most Popular Talent Show award but they had reason to celebrate after Simon picked up a Special Recognition gong.

However, while Cheryl, Louis and Simon headed for a special dinner together, Dannii went to the awards afterparty instead.

Our spy said: "It was a little odd. They had reason to celebrate, so a few eyebrows were raised by Dannii's absence."

Perhaps she decided to get an early night because she was appearing at the opening of Shepherd's Bush's Westfield shopping centre today.

Either way, her no-show at dinner will do nothing to dispell rumours of X Factor in-fighting.

It is all for show and to keep people interested in it (and for the ratings) - it isn't real. Remember they have to go against Strictly which is in my opinion far more exciting - I then watch X Factor when that is finished.

I feel sorry for Danni. Last year Simon was 'all over her' and this year he's effectively exchanged her for a younger model. The in fighting and bickering between the judges is pathetic and unprofessional. They are all damaging the show and I especially hate to see the way Simon is bullying Danni so publically.

Louis Walsh is the biggest waste of space on TV.
