Bono keeps on giving

Love him or hate him, Bono makes most other philanthropists look like Scrooge. He locked horns with billionaire Sir Philip Green at a charity auction held at the Music Industry Trust's Awards last night, and pipped him to a VIP box at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium with a bid of £20,000.

Hurrah! Cat's out the bag. Yes apparently Mr Bono is exceptionally good at getting us to part with our money...not so good at parting with his own however.

what a load of tosh, 20k isnt a huge amount of money, i would have bid that too, and im not worth half of what bono is

im sick of him asking us to give give give when he charges $500 a ticket to watch him perform
why doesnt he do a show for free and then give half of HIS fortune anyway
