Grandpa came to watch me be a Slut

Updated 12:17pm on 5 Nov 2008

He might have taken a front-row seat to watch his granddaughter perform in school plays over the years. But now that Georgina Baillie is part of the controversial burlesque group Satanic Sluts Extreme, Andrew Sachs could be forgiven for wanting to take more of a back seat.

Family support: Georgina Baillie of Satanic Sluts

However, despite the show's graphic content, we can reveal that the 78-year-old Faulty Towers star has already seen her provocative show.

Georgina told us: "My granddad saw my show in July when I performed live at Glastonbury. He's always been incredibly supportive of what I do as he respects my decision to be an individual."

The 23-year-old performer shot to fame when she became the centre of the Radio 2 obscenity row after Russell Brand left a number of lewd messages on Sachs's answerphone, boasting of having sex with her. She has already made an estimated £100,000 in appearance fees with her group and is set to make a further £50,000 at gentlemen's club The Kensington Suite later this month.

Despite her grandfather's public show of support, it seems there is still one sticking point he can't seem to overlook.

Georgina added: " My granddad was like 'Why did you call it Satanic Sluts? Do you know what slut means?' But he saw the show and he liked it."

And why wouldn't a respectable OAP like watching his granddaughter writhe around naked in fake blood and intestines?

How many people have actually listened to the broadcast of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross? Not this reporter, obviously. The inappropriate comments were made by Jonathan Ross NOT Russell Brand. No wonder it's all been blown out of all proportion if people can't get the facts right!

Russell Brand quit his brilliant radio show, and the brilliant Jonathan Ross has been suspended for 3 months. And the BBC is reviewing how it moderates it's programs. Why ! ........... so we can have 3 months of pointless interviews with Georgina Baillie who must be causing her much liked and respected grandfather far more shock and embarrassment than the prank call Ross and Brand made. Shame on some of the tabloids for blowing the phone prank out of proportion.

this is ridiculous, she has sold her story and now a tv 'sepcial' about it - wish the media would stop giving them publicity about it all. who cares?! if she had kept quiet, no one would have known as everyone assumed Brand was having a joke and hadnt really slept with her. She is enjoying the fame which her band are definitely not giving her!!
