Amy runs to dad as Blake is freed

Updated 12:34pm on 6 Nov 2008

Amy Winehouse ran into the arms of her dad Mitch after an extraordinary bust-up with photographers.

Hand in hand: dad Mitch escorts Amy and Blake is free

It happened as she left her north London home yesterday. The singer, who had left hospital on Monday after treatment for a chest infection, looked grim and unwell, with make-up smeared across her face.

She lunged at one photographer, shouting: "Who's first? Who wants some?"

A photographer who suffered a cut head and smashed glasses is said to be considering pressing charges. Amy's spokesman said today: "She came out of her home and was faced with millions of people she wasn't expecting and she lost her temper."

A few hours later her father, cab driver Mitch, turned up at her flat and ordered a pizza for them.

Winehouse, 25, later came out looking happier having showered and changed - for once without her eyeliner. Her father shepherded her into a taxi with a friend.

The incident came the day Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, 26, was released from jail in Suffolk - to enter rehab. He said: "I'm gonna see my wife and take her knickers down."

Blake is hot. I hope whatever they decide to do with their marriage, they will have a brigther future ahead of them. They both deserve some happiness after this long rough time.

The more we write about them the more they will do it! looking at there ugly dirty faces in the papers every morning over breakfast certainly has not made them change so nothing will...i suggest we leave them to it and let them rot! her money will run out soon enough if people refuse to give them work.

It is sad to see such a great entertainer going the way Amy is.
Her dad should take her away somewhere from the spotlight for her to sort herself out.

Amy has a talent that needs protecting. Civil may joke, but he's the one to execute the protection.

Amy Winohouse is not the sort of person who you really want your children to aspire to. As some sort of pop idol you would have thought she would at least try and set an example for the younger generation. She is a complete waste of space.

Amy used to be a great singer and songwriter, but she's wasted the talent she has and to think she's only 25, how can this be? Drugs, what an advert for not taking them.

As for that idiot of a husband, so little intelligence it's just frightening...
