Georgina Baillie: Grandad launched my topless career...

Georgina Baillie has revealed that it was her grandfather who helped launch her career in topless modelling.

The woman at the centre of the Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand telephone row said it was Fawlty Towers actor Andrew Sachs who gave her the contacts she needed.

Career boost: Georgina Baillie posing for men's magazine ZOO

She said: "My grandad actually introduced me to the photographer for the Page 3 pictures, so there are things he's happy with and things he's not.

"It all seemed perfectly innocent to me. If you look at the shots, I look like a different
person. I look all squeaky-clean and cute, so that's why I think he was all right with me doing topless, but nothing dirtier!"

Ms Baillie, 23, hit the headlines last month after Ross and Brand left crude messages about her on 78-year-old Sach's answer machine during Brand's Radio 2 show.

Ross, 47, was suspended for three months and Brand, 33, resigned. Ms Baillie, who dances with burlesque troupe the Satanic Sluts, initially said Ross and Brand should be fired but now admits she was glad it happened as it boosted her career.

She said: "Nobody ever Googled me before, yet I had the most searched name in the UK last week."

The full interview and more pictures appear in Zoo magazine, out now.

* The BBC announced today that Ross's Friday night chat show on BBC1 will be replaced by stand-up comedy series Live At The Apollo until January.

Satanic Sluts.., topless photos,... internet porn,... the poor, poor thing! And all you, who are complaining about Ross, Russel and "the filthy old man": Haven't you got real issues to complain about? And to Georgina: Go and rake in the money before things start getting 'saggy'!

I think the whole thing is funny. I bet she got paid well and to be perfectly honest never mind what other people think.

What a filfthy old man to introduce his grandaughter to the seedy world of soft porn.

- Brian Fast, Sydney Australia

will the last sane person turn out the lights! the world's gone mad!

Methinks it's time this young "lady" retreated quietly back into the obscurity from whence she came or else risk losing the little public sympathy she has left altogether!...

- Ali Sichilongo, London

This is rediculous,
she is making money out of being a sket, after wanting Russel brand and Jonathan Ross to be fired for telling her granddad that she is one, which he quite obviously knew if he was the one who introduced her into her "career".
She is basically riding her "bad" publicity in the media for all its worth and in a promiscuous fashion, whilst damaging the careers of others who are far more talented than she could ever comprehend dreaming of being.
It is even likely that she doesn't care about any punishments for the two gentlemen in question but is simply kicking up a fuss to encourage as much publicity as possible to extend her "career".
I quite frankly think the BBC should apologise to both Brand and Ross for even doing anything to them about the situation, after this sket regretted being a sket.
