Hot Rod Stewart, what's with the outfit?
Updated 12:25pm on 25 Nov 2008Rod Steward looked like a member of some weird Scottish Gestapo last night in a long leather coat that covered a tartan waistcoat atop a pair of tartan shoes.
Stepping out: Rod and Penny make their way though Soho last night
He dined out in Little Italy in Soho with his wife Penny Lancaster and daughter Kimberly.
Rod must have been happy with the meal as he gave the manager a kiss on his way out.

I think he's just adorable and if I were Penney I'd drag him everywhere too.
He loooks a little like Jauque Cousteau!! He could wear burlap and I'd drag him with me...just look at that skin on his face-ain't looking old to me.

And she looks as if she is taking her Grandpa out for the evening!!
And all this tartan twee he adds to his wear doesn't grab me at all!! Its all a gimmick if you ask me!
