Jaime Winstone: I want to wed Alf in a black dress

Alfie Allen and Jaime Winstone are ready to put their turbulent past behind them and start planning their wedding day - with a typical twist. And we can reveal the stylish actress has asked Vivienne Westwood to design her wedding dress - which is going to be black. Jaime has remained coy since Alfie's sister Lily spilled the beans on their impending marriage - until now.

Wedding planner: Jaime Winstone

She revealed: "It's meant to be bad luck to wear black on you wedding day but I don't care. I want a black lace sexy dress, short at the front and long at the back. I think Alfie would like that too. Vivienne Westwood is my favourite designer of all time, so it makes perfect sense to ask her to design the dress. I would love her to do it, fingers crossed."

Jaime was at the launch of the Ann Summers Enchantment collection last night in Marylebone, where she was joined by sister Lois.

Her sis was named as the new face of Ann Summers - are they sure "face" is the right word?

Giving Jaime away on the big day will be her hardman actor dad Ray. It would be a frightening thought for any man to have The Departed star as a father-in-law, but Alfie has somehow managed to wriggle his way into Ray's affections.

But one thing Ray may have something to say about is Jaime's choice of wedding gown. She said: "My dad has always respected my individual sense of fashion but he says he doesn't understand it. He has a great sense of style himself from living in a house full of women."

But Jaime doesn't seem at all scared of what her father will say when she turns up in a black dress, adding: "He may not understand my choice of fashion but he would never tell me to take something off or anything like that so I'm sure he will be cool."
