Becks nose how to make friends
Updated 13:51pm on 3 Dec 2008David Beckham was today greeted with a traditional Maori hongi after he touched down in New Zealand on tour with his LA Galaxy football team.

Rubbing along nicely: David Beckham is welcomed by Maori Jackson Peke
Becks, 33, was given a nose rub by Jackson Peke of the Te Waihono A Kupe Kapa Haka cultural group at Auckland airport. He looked unfazed by the intimate welcome, smiling as Peke shook his hand, held his shoulder and leaned in toward his face. Hongi literally means "sharing of breath".
