Jungle baddie David Van Day is on course to win I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! according to insiders. The former Eighties singer is leading the voting "by a country mile" despite ex-EastEnder Joe Swash being the bookies' favourite.

Bad influence: David Van Day

Van Day arrived late as a surprise to the other contestants. Since then he has wound up the rest of the camp and yesterday WAG Nicola McLean revealed he had asked her to help bring down 26-year-old Swash, who responded: "That's low."

Voted out: Nicola McLean

McLean, 25, who was voted off the ITV show last night, ignored Van Day as he tried to give her a goodbye hug. Meanwhile excontestant Brian Paddick is refusing to be interviewed unless he is paid £10,000.

A splendid prediction. Is that Ant and Dec down the front of McLean's t-shirt?

I sincerely hope David Van Day does not win. He is horrible, vain and boring.

I hope either Martina, Joe or George win.
