Robbie 'wants to get back now with Take That'

There was strong speculation today that Robbie Williams could be on the verge of rejoining Take That.

Williams said he saw his old bandmates over the summer and has had their symbol tattooed on his arm to prove his commitment.

Will Robbie join the circus? he could be back for good

Take That are celebrating their latest album The Circus selling 500,000 copies in two weeks, with it becoming one of the biggest albums of the year.

It was also reported today that Williams is on his way back to England from the US after buying a £7m country house in Wiltshire, sparking new hopes he could work with the band.

Williams, 34, has been in LA for the past five years but could use the mansion as a base for the release of his new album next year.

Success story: Take That have had a huge comeback

In an emotional message on his Inner Sanctum website, he wrote: "Just thought I'd set a few things straight about me and the boys. We got together a lot over the summer. It was amazing.

"We've all matured a lot since we parted. I'm very pleased to say the differences we've had have just melted away.

"We had a lot of serious chats. Everything we had problems with just boils down to one thing - victims of circumstance. No one was wrong, no one was right.

"After they left, I felt like a tonne of bricks had been removed from my shoulders. We'd put right what an awful lot of other broken bands fail to do."

Williams added that he celebrated by getting the Take That symbol tattooed on his right arm.

"I'm proud to know the boys and I'm proud to have been in the band."

Williams quit the band in 1995 but was recently spotted with Gary Barlow at an Arsenal match and the two have been in talks about recording a reunion gig for a DVD.

Williams added: "I'm over the moon for the boys. I love the new album too. I'd love to be in the band again but I've got some unfinished business of my own."

Williams has had massive solo success, but this has been marred by addiction and depression.

The person Robbie needs to get back with is Guy Chambers, who penned most of his memorable songs. It's a sad fact that since they split, I struggle to name ANY Robbie song titles .........

Robbie, stay stateside. I'm not a TT fan, but will buy their CD as I did their last - they seem like great down to earth guys who are really enjoying their renewed success. Robbie = massive ego = massive problems. Take That you don't need him, don't welcome Mr Big Head back to the fold.

I suppose it's just a coincidence that Robbie's new found maturity has coincided with the band's amazing success second time around? He should stay in LA. Take That have proved not once, but twice that they have the talent and charisma to make it without him. A huge part of their appeal is their down to earth nature--Robbie is the antithesis to it. He's seen an opportunity to hitch his not so much fading as faded star to their coat tails.

I'm no die hard fan but they make great pop. It would be disappointing if they let him back into the band after his ungracious behaviour toward them in the past!

Desperate. Run out of ideas so he rejoins the original dance troupe.

I'd tell him to get lost frankly after he so publically snubbed the boys before their comeback. Surprising how he's interested in joining the band now his own solo career has nose dived.

Why would take that want him back? By all accounts he was a nightmare to work with the last time and since then his ego has sky rocketed and his career nose dived...the guys don't need him they are way successful enough without sharing it with Robbie who simply wants the limelight back on him.....Take that...Don't take him back!! tell him to go back to the states!
