Jason doesn't want Robbie back for good

A sensational return to Take That by Robbie Williams could be scuppered after Jason Orange revealed the band is split on a decision to take him back.

A future with Orange? Jason confessed to mixed views

Talk of Robbie rejoining has been rife after the singer admitted this week he would "love" to link up with the former boyband again.

And Gary Barlow appeared to open the door for his return today when he said: "The band has been having great fun with Robbie over the last few months - it's been really good getting to know him again."

But Jason, 38, has confessed there are mixed views within the band on the return of Robbie, who quit to go solo in 1995 after a series of rows. He said: "We have different opinions on that. It could only be if he was fit and able. Who knows, but let's just say we have differing views on Robbie coming back."

Jason's comments were in contrast to the views of Gary, 37, who penned the band's hits including Back For Good. Barlow said: "He [Robbie] has sorted himself out and is in a really good place at the moment. It's great news that he's decided to come back to the UK.

"I've always loved working here and wouldn't want to be anywhere else - and I've been telling Robbie for a while now that he needs to move back. He's got a lot of unfinished business here."

Robbie, 34, revealed this week he was preparing to return to the UK after living in Los Angeles for five years, and he has bought a £7m house in Wiltshire.

He wrote in his blog: "I'd love to be in the band again, but I've got unfinished business of my own. I'd like to think we'd be the only band in the history of music to get together because of artistic differences."

Take That have enjoyed huge success since reforming and their album, The Circus, is currently at No 1.

i don't think robbie should re join take that, maybe it would be nice for the boys to be back as a five piece, but i love take that as a four piece they are the best ever they have done so well rejoing as a four piece so i dont think they need robbie back and plus if robbie come back he would try and steel marks lime light and that cannot happen as mark is amasing!
i love take that
Xxxxxxxxxx

I Strongly don`t think that Take That Members should Have Robbie Williams Back-Robbie has been popular and successful-Since going Solo- And having become a Great Take That Fan-I strongly Feel that Take That are doing Fine on their own without Robbie. Let Take That Members have and be given the Opportunity of Having the Limelight for Once(Robbie has had his Opportunity)of having had the the Success and Limelight. Let Take That Members have theirs Now. And I also Think that Gary should Re-Think and concentrate on respecting the present Take That members of the Group choices Re: Robbie, -If They don`t want him back ?.-Then Gary should be respecting their wishes, and him concentrate on Looking after his present members of the Group-I think it could possibly be a Big mistake for the Group-If they were to consider, accept Robbie back. I sincerely Think that Take That should concentrate on continuing their Comeback Success on their own-As They are Now(and without Robbie)

Beyondtheuk I'm sorry to disappoint you but Take That won't be disappearing anytime soon. They've just had a number 1 single and album (the fastest selling album of the year) and next year they'll play to over 1 million fans on what I understand is the fastest selling UK tour ever.

Sorry you're so jealous, obviously your favourite artist/s aren't as popular as the lads. Never mind, not everyone can be as talented as Take That.

TT must be mad to consider taking Robbie back in. They have gone in a whole new direction since their relaunch. Taking him back in would be like going back several steps and he may just be using them to relaunch his own career. Bad move guys - keep him out.

Jay is being the only reasonable man here!
Can't you spot the hypocrisy? Can't you spot the 2-faced Rob who'd never change his views and opinions and will use the band as personal PR even though he'd be stepping on his own toes here but willing to swallow the pride just to relive his solo- career?

I'm with Jason. Not enough room for Robbie big head and his monster ego in Take That. He'd soon want to take over and think that the rest of the band were his backing singers!

Jason is correct. Since TT have done so well Robbie's career has stalled. When he was doing well he was so rude to them showing his true colours for example iin the TT documentary.

No no no - dont let him back in. he will poison the group again. maybe a one off an thats it. Take That have done brilliantly without him and they should stay a foursome. He's in it for himself as he's doing rubbish and just wants to ride off their success. Don't do it!

Thank you, Jason!!

God, I hope this is true, and not just yet another journalist with "a pen and a fantasy". Old TT was with Robbie, new TT is without him. A song or two with them on stage is one thing, but joining the band? No.

I can understand that the boys are accepting Robbie now, they get appologies. I'm just a girl that he hated for being a TT fan. I won't get anything from him. He won't tell me that he's sorry for calling me stupid for being a TT fan. He won't tell me how sorry he is for hurting me SO bad when I was a kid. I had ONE good thing in my life back then: TT. He took it away from me and called me and other fans retards.

Love ain't here anymore, Robert. I'm sorry. I wish it was the other way around, but the past is stronger than my will to forgive.

Please, please, please stay as a FOUR!!
That is what they are now known as now. I think taking Robbie back would ruin their successful return they are having. Robbie left and ruined it all once, what's to say he wont do it again!

I think Jason is absolutely right. Take That have made a hugely successful comeback and since parting company with Guy Chambers, Robbie has had little success. Didn't Robbie turn his nose up years ago when TT did the Knebworth gigs? I hope TT don't have room for such an over inflated ego as Robbie's!

If TT take Robbie back it will be a huge mistake, it will be the end of them
Please please stay as a 4 peice you have made your own success with this comeback the FOUR of you have done this without him, you dont need him rejoining after all this time, he had his chance when you first reformed!
