No girls aloud on Louise Redknapp's VIP table

Updated 12:47pm on 15 Dec 2008

Louise Redknapp certainly made sure she called the shots when she refused Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts a space on her VIP table. Louise, 34, was in Mayfair club Whisky Mist with a group of friends when Nicola arrived after watching The X Factor finals in north London.

Not in a sharing mood: Nicola Roberts, left, and Louise Redknapp

But the red-headed star had not reserved a table, so staff asked Louise if she would mind sharing hers - but she bluntly refused.

An onlooker in the club told us: "Nicola was in a bit of a state, and got to the club quite late. She assumed she would be whisked straight onto her own VIP table, but when she was told all of the tables were booked she looked confused.

When it was clear that Louise would not share her table, Nicola had to stay at the bar with her friends."

Former Eternal singer Louise was with a group of girlfriends, and ordered the club' s £400 Quaich cocktail, which is accompaniedby a 65-year-old man playing bagpipes (honestly, we are not making this up). Earlier in the night Nicola, whose hits with Girls Aloud include Call The Shots, was in nearby Mahiki nightclub, looking for her friends. Our spy told us: "Nicola looked completely hammered when she arrived, and I heard her say to a manager that her friends were already inside.

"The club quickly cleared a table for her, and she was wandering around looking for her chums with the help of the manager.

"She was taken to Westlife's table, where all four band members were partying with their partners after their performance in The X Factor final."

But Nicola realised she had gone to the wrong club, and that her pals were actually in Whisky Mist.

Ease up Nicola - you're in danger of taking Sarah Harding's crown as the biggest caner in Girls Aloud...
