X Factor Alex & Ruth on the lash... but Di's denied

Updated 13:53pm on 17 Dec 2008

The X Factor finalists held their wrap party last night - but there were a few absentees.

Hostesses with the mostesses: Ruth Lorenzo and Alex Burke

Poor Diana Vickers was turned away by doorman at the venue, as she's only 17, so she took her brother around the corner for a coffee instead. Diana runs the risk of missing out on the perks of popularity - it might not be long before the free bars dry up for the contestants.

No entry: Diana Vickers and her brother

Eoghan "Eggnog" Quigg and boyband JLS were in Dublin performing a charity concert and the show's judges were never due to appear, which left Alexandra Burke and Ruth Lorenzo to lead the partying.

Suited and booted: Dermot O'Leary, Holly Willoughby and Daniel Evans outside Movida

Presenters Dermot O'Leary and a very pregnant Holly Willoughby were there as well - as were Daniel Evans, Bad Lashes and Girl Band. Ruth committed a major fashion faux pas by wearing the same dress as she did the night before. If you're going to do that, Ruth, make sure you don't get snapped by the paps...

Shouldn't that read Dreary O'Leary????

How boring is this man??

He seems a really nice guy but has about as much charisma and fun as a fart in a spacesuit!!

He is just soooooooooooooooo bland. He drones when he talks and has animation in his voice at all.

His radio show on a Saturday is the same, great guests, good music but borrrrrrrrring!!
