Football-mad Russell Brand’s on the ball

If Russell Brand asks you to sign his ball, it's bound to raise an eyebrow or two.

So we wonder what happened when football-mad Brand asked the entire West Ham team to do the honours.

Thankfully, they didn't take it the wrong way and happily obliged. As a result, the 33-year-old comic — a Hammers fan — was made up as he returned to his Hampstead home last night.

He had even bought a copy of the Big Issue. Now that really is the mark of a man in a good mood.
