Kate Moss tells nanny to expect twice as much work
Last updated at 12:24pm on 06.01.09She's been dropping hints for months, but now Kate Moss has given her clearest indication yet that having another child is her top resolution for 2009. The supermodel gave the nanny of her daughter Lila Grace a huge Christmas bonus and told her to expect an increased workload this year.

Baby plans: Kate Moss has hinted that she wants to get pregnant in 2009
Kate, 34, handed Mary Davidson - the mother of her pal Sadie Frost - a £2,000 festive bonus. Our source said: "Kate told her that the bonus had been doubled, as she hoped she'd have twice as much work for her this year.
"She told the nanny that she is the only person in the world she would want to be there if she had a new baby. Mary was so touched by Kate's words that she burst into tears."
Mary, 66, was hired by Kate two years ago, as she knew she could trust the mother of one of her closest pals.
Kate is currently on holiday in Thailand with her boyfriend Jamie Hince, 40, Lila Grace, six, and Mary. Sources say Lila Grace and Mary will return home in a few days, leaving Kate and Jamie to detox at the luxury five-star spa Chiva Som.
Our mole added: "Kate has been smoking and having the odd drink on holiday, but will start her detox in earnest when she is on her own with Jamie.
"She wants to wait until she has cleaned out her system before attempting to get pregnant.
"Last year was quite a heavy one for the couple, and she wants to make sure she's in good health before they start. "But her gift to Mary is her clearest indication yet that she'd like to add to her brood before this year is out." Jamie has always been concerned about Kate's partying ways, so we bet he's pleased that she is looking to slow things down - for now. Kate had her first child from her relationship with magazine publisher Jefferson Hack.

My point, very silly KH of London, was that the nanny appears to do all the parenting of the existing child as it is! All parents face the dilemma of balancing careers and child care, of course, but some of us do spend more than a token holiday with our offspring and don't have round the clock dogsbodies to do what we ought to be doing when we're not at work! Unless you consider being on the lash most nights as "work"...

I'm not sure why Kate bothers with kids. And I agree with JVC - 2k is an average Christmas bonus for someone earning around 30k and Kate Moss must be pretty stingy if she thinks in this day and age that after tax 2k is generous

I think Kates gesture was lovely, and if Kate was to have another child then yes mary would have more work(silly comment Helen). Hannk, i bet people would love to slap you all over the shop, and Racheal, how do you know anything about kates mothering - you are obviously one of these people who belieive everything they read - it is possible to have a social life and a child - especially when they are Lila's age. The comments left here just go to show how sad and jealous some of you are.

If she can be trusted, hoiw come she's spilling the beans about her Xmas bonus?!!
I'm not saying Kate's mingin', but when that baby comes out, the midwife will be sure to smack the mother.

I am sure to get some flack for this, but is 2K really a "huge Christmas bonus" for the likes of Miss Moss?

How is a 66 year old going to cope with sole responsibility for two children whilst Moss is out "partying"?

Twice as much work for the nanny? But surely there are only 24 hours in one day??!
