Kylie Minogue seems happy to show the world she has found love again after splitting up from her boyfriend two years ago.

The pop princess looked blissfully happy as she strolled hand in hand with Spanish model Andrés Velencoso in the French Alps - before stopping and kissing him passionately.

But what amazed onlookers more than anything was the uncanny resemblance the 6ft 4in hunk has to Kylie' s ex, French actor Olivier Martinez.

Both are tall, dark and handsome - but Velencoso even shares 43-year-old Martinez's pout and light stubble.

But if Kylie, 40, was looking to replace her boyfriend of four years, she did it in style by choosing a younger model. Velencoso is 10 years her junior at 30 years old.

The couple were first pictured together a t bu r --lesque artist Dita Von Teese's birthday party in Paris in October.

But because Kylie has striven to keep their romance under wraps, it is only now the public has seen the couple's obvious chemistry.

Pictures published in Hello! magazine today showed Kyl ie and Velencoso walking through the town of Chamonix, where they are sharing a £10,000-a-week chalet, and snowboarding on the slopes.

A source told the magazine: "I saw them drinking coffee at a little café in town. They were gazing into each other's eyes and kissing all the time."

The source added that the pair took snowboarding lessons together every day. "Kylie was very good at it," the source said.

"But Andrés had obviously never done it before and needed lessons. On his first day, he kept losing his balance and falling into the snow.

"They both saw the funny side and were laughing together. Kylie tried to help him, but in the end they snowboarded separately because she was more advanced than Andrés, which was quite amusing."

Catalonia-born Velencoso, who is based in New York, has modelled for Lacoste, Armani and Louis Vuitton.

Despite their split, Martinez and Kylie are still on amicable terms and occasionally meet in Paris where she can see their dog, Sheba, and take her for walks.

Martinez remained by the singer's side as she battled breast cancer.

After she was given the all-clear in January 2006, she said of him: "He is amazing. But he was particularly amazing throughout this last year."

There was speculation the couple would marry, but they split a year later. Martinez is now dating Spanish actress Goya Toledo.

Other celebs spotted in Chamonix for the new year include Penélope Cruz and soccer star Patrick Vieira with his wife. Kylie's latest album, Boombox, was released yesterday.
