Hugh Laurie takes US by storm
Updated 13:57pm on 8 Jan 2009British actor Hugh Laurie was presented with the Favourite Male TV Star award last night for his role as Doctor Gregory House at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards.
Teri Hatcher presents Laurie with his award
Held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, 49-year-old Hugh appeared a little shy as he accepted the coveted gong, presented to him by actress Teri Hatcher. Hatcher, the star of hit TV series Desperate Housewives, appeared to be smitten by the good doctor. We wonder if he makes House calls?

The confrontational process to diagnose rare diseases and those that are very difficult to diagnose. allows House to apply the creative process to helping patients. . House's creative process allows him to bring disjoint ideas and thoughts together to link him into a correct diagnosis. The support staff are bright and bring bright ideas that often allow House and the staff come to very creative and illusive solutions. Dr Houses pranks as well as Dr Wilson's lead us to another side of entertainment in the serious environment that House always has something surprising to add ... This is my favorite TV show in many years.
