Now Cowell says he DOES want Kelly

Simon Cowell has apologised to Kelly Brook and offered her a consolation job after axing her from Britain's Got Talent.

What a grey day: Simon Cowell

The model and actress, 29, who made her first public appearance yesterday since her dismissal, had been hired to join the panel of Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan and inject some glamour into the ITV show. But she was ditched just six days into auditions when bosses decided the panel was not working Now Cowell has offered her a job as a roving reporter on an ITV2 spinoff show, Britain's Got More Talent. He said: "I have spoken to Kelly and apologised. She is a warm person who looks great and that's why I spoke to her about the ITV2 show. I hope she'll accept."

It also seems the 49-year-old mogul had been at the Just For Men hair dye as on Tuesday he sported a saltandpepper look, which by yesterday was back to jet black. Meanwhile, as auditions began in Glasgow he ordered his chauffeur to bring his £300,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom 400 miles from London to ferry him between the venue and his hotel - a journey of just three miles.

Great that the diminutive pop maestro has recognised that there are a couple of reasons why Kelly should brighten up our screens.

Who got at Simon then! What a shame he had to renage now, as we hopefully get rid of Holly Willoughby from our screens when she has her baby, our screens will be swamped with another person revealing all from the waist up, Kelly will take over. Good job I have control of the remote?

Glad to see Simon make amends with Kelly, he treated her pretty poorly!

A 400 mile jaunt for his 3 mile journey oh Simon you eco-warrior you!
