Dazed Princess Bea leaves her driver and cop behind

Who would have thought having your own personal driver and bodyguard could be so confusing? Princess Beatrice got in a bit of a tizz last night and completely forgot about her hired help, leaving them behind as she tried to hail a black cab home.

It's perfectly reasonable to assume a night of partying may have had something to do with her making such an embarrassing mistake.

Taxi! Taxi! Princess Beatrice this morning

The fifth in line to the throne, 20, had been in Cuckoo Club in Mayfair, and emerged at 1.15am looking a little bit bewildered.

An onlooker said: “Beatrice looked dazed and confused when she left the club. Her security team thought she was with them but she wandered into Regent Street and tried to hail a cab.
“A security officer had to find her and tell her that she had a car waiting near the club, so she followed him to it.”

Beatrice has not been going out much recently as has upcoming exams at Goldsmiths University, but clearly took a night off for a family birthday party.

The young Royal was with her sister Eugenie, 18, to celebrate their cousin Ayesha Makim and her boyfriend Steve Wood's joint birthday party. Ayesha, who will turn 23 next week, moved from Australia in 2005 to pursue a modelling career and now lives with Steve in Kensington.

An onlooker in the club said: “There was a dinner followed by dancing. There were buckets of champagne and Belvedere vodka on the tables. Both Princesses were getting really into the music and dancing like crazy.”

Perhaps Bea was tired and confused by her enthusiasm on the dancefloor.

Thankfully, her recently stolen BMW was recovered by police yesterday... another good reason why she shouldn't have to hail a cab.

How many times a week do these girls go out?!!!...They always seem to have an excuse to go out clubbing to expensive clubs and bars three or four times a week!!..Streuth...when do they do any work?...I wish when I was at uni living on my termly student budget I'd been able to be supported by the ordinary taxpayer and "party" all the time at Boujis or Mahiki's where the cost of drinks begin at upwards of £20 (which I'm sure these two girls never drink)...no I'm quite confident they start way down the drinks menu at the Mahiki treasure chest (£190)...and then have my own protection team around me and transport to take me home!!...We're going through a deep RECESSION...the good times have stopped or are over for a lot of people...I take offence at having had to limit my pleasures when these two seem oblivious to the misery that others are going through and continue their thrill seeking with wild abandon...it's time they (the entire Royal Family) were reined in...people are feeling the pinch but yet are still having to pay for you and a bit more sensitivity in behaviour would be much appreciated!

I agree, she really is a total drain on the public purse. She should go and get a job or at least do some charity work.

Who would have thought this none entity would drain the public purse to be 'protect', protected from what exactly???

Whilst the country is drowning in debt, money is spent on this family's everyday activities.

Norway's royal family manage to go about their business almost on their own why not ours and save the country millions????

I am not suggesting we get rid of the royal family, just the hanger's on like this one, her sister, her cousins and father who seem to do very little!
