Jade Goody clings to her boyfriend as she greets him on his release from prison.
The reality TV star, who is suffering from cervical cancer, had an emotional reunion with Jack Tweed as he left Wayland Prison in Norfolk today.
Tweed, 21, had served four months of an 18-month sentence after he was convicted in September of assaulting a 16-year-old boy with a golf club in 2006.
Tweed, who lived with Goody and her two sons at their home in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, was sentenced only weeks after she received her cancer diagnosis.
He was granted an early release from prison on the conditions he adheres to a strict curfew and wears an electronic tag.
Currently undergoing chemotherapy which has made her lose all her hair, 27-year-old Goody was distraught when Tweed was sent down and admitted to friends it would be hard to cope without his support.
Now the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant, who last month was given a 40 per cent chance of beating the disease by doctors, says she would like to marry Tweed.
Last week, she said: "He hasn't formally proposed yet, but we've been talking about it for months.
"There's just an acceptance that it's going to happen."

im so sad to hear about jade, my heart goes out to all involved, we had the pleasure of meeting jade a few years ago at a party.my son who was 11 at the time was completely starstruck.he spent all evening glued to her side,she was so sweet with him.i was surprised how small she was in real life and so so pretty.my boy went to school beaming on monday morning to show his class a picture of jade grabbing his cheeks and kissing them!!! to think that this cancer is robbing her of her life is so cruel.im sad and angry that they didnt detect it earlier so she could have had a chance. shes a beautiful star and will shine brightly forever.wish i could see her just to tell her this.

I heard Ms jade goody has cancer and she is on final stage. I would like to tell her take DXN food suppliments/medicine. i carnt believe some people calling jade she is a 27yr old girl with 2 little boys she is fighting for her life she must be very scared i wouldnt swap places with her she has made a few mistakes along her way so what havnt we all , i dont believe jade will win this fight i hope and pray she does but its not lookin good so all you narrow minded people show some compassion you must be bothered to come on here a leave a message God bless you jade thinking about you Gaynor xxx

I don't think that Jade should marry Jack if she wants all her money to go to her children after she dies. She split up with Jack once before.

Poor woman, I have nothing but sympathy for her, facing the prospect of dying whilst being the mainstay in her childrens lives, why not sell what ever story she can to provide a good future for her children, no more than half the Royals whose lives we subsidise every day intellectual or not! the fact were on here talking about jade now proves she has some allure. yeah shes not the sharpest tool in the box, which she'll tell you herself! As for Jacks sentence being cut short, well all i can say is there's many monsters on our streets who never see jail, rather get given a house (right next door to a nursery if you know what i mean) and benefits! I bet that four months has felt like an eternity knowing what shes had to go through on her own! and as for drains on society! I havent seen any pics of them cuing up at the post office with a giro in their hands! all I'd ask any one to question is would you trade places? and if in the same predicament with the chance to earn as much money as possible for your children would you sniff at it? I think not! good luck to her and her family good bad or indifferent shes a fighter! and that spirit should be admired! I hope she pulls through to spend the money shes getting, and more imperatively to see her sons grow into men!

Small minded people who take potshots are celebs when they are down really annoys me. Yes, I agree Jade has no talent but she has worked hard to push herself forward - no more than any other celeb. She has stated that she is working as hard as she can to make sure her children are looked after if the worse happens. She isn't wallowing in self pity like most of us would and she certainly isn't a drain on society. I am not impressed with the jail term for her boyfriend but I really don't think the powers that be really care what we (general public) think anyway. Good luck to Jade and I hope she lives a long time and continues to look after her family as best she can

He only served 4 months of an 18 month sentence. That's ridiculous, no wonder the country is in such a mess. I have heard of beign released early for good behavious but this is abdurd.
