Jagger ties the knot...Jade that is

Mick Jagger's daughter has finally taken the plunge and married long- term boyfriend Dan Williams, it appears. Jade Jagger has been dating the DJ for five years, thankfully showing a little more restraint than her father and taking her time.

The 37-year-old jewellerydesigning socialite let her pals know about her nuptials on Facebook, changing her marital status to "Married to Dan Williams".

While her publicist admitted that she knew nothing about the wedding, a source said: "The couple have been very happy together for years. They didn't want to rush things and did it when the time was right for them. It just took a few people by surprise when it appeared on Facebook."

Last year, speculation-that they were engaged hit fever pitch after Dan said that he was designing a ring for Jade. The couple met in Ibiza in 2001 where they were living at the time, and got together after being friends for two years.

Although Jade has described Dan as the love of her life, their relationship hit a rocky patch after it was rumoured that she was dating US rapper Pharrell Williams in 2005.

But our source added: "They clearly make a great couple. Everyone is so pleased."

Jade has never mar r ied before, but has two children by former boyfriend Piers Jackson: Assisi Lola Jackson, 15, and Amba, 12, who have both started appearing on the social circuit recently despite their tender age.
