It was a long night for James Corden's partner in crime - he performed in a West End play before rushing across town to take his place spinning the LPs. Mat, 30, appeared in Entertaining Mr Sloane at the Trafalgar Studios before zipping to Shoreditch, where he was the star of the XFM Club night at Mother Bar.
His time to shiner came after a live set from a band called Dutch Uncles.
During the second half of his set, a few people decided to jump on stage and start dancing, oblivious to those around them.
The chicks went mad as he played a string of Indie hits. Our spy said: "He was clearly loving the vibe as he was raising his hand to the tunes when the crowd were going wild." Mat is due to present the Brit Awards next week with Gavin, and the duo are worried that bosses might ban them from saying anything naughty.
He told us: "God, I hope they don't put any kind of gagging order on us." Kylie Minogue is helping them present.
