Billie's tot on show as Chris is father again

Updated 11:58am on 11 Feb 2009

As Chris Evans celebrated becoming a father for a second time, his former wife Billie Piper was enjoying the delights of parenthood on a day out in London.

That's a wrap: dad Laurence keeps Winston warm

With huge smiles Billie, her husband, actor Laurence Fox, and their fourmonthold son Winston were a picture of happiness as they shopped in Chiswick yesterday.

All smiles: new dad Evans gives thumbs up

A passer-by said: "Billie couldn't stop smiling and appeared very relaxed, while Laurence was the doting father, paying so much care and attention to make sure Winston was wrapped up well in the cold, while Billie popped in and out of the shops."

Earlier in the day, Billie's ex-husband Chris Evans, now a DJ on radio 2, emerged from the Portland hospital in west London to announce the birth of his first son, Noah, with his wife, golfer Natasha Shishmanian.

Evans, 42, who already has a 22-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, called his son, who weighed 7lb 4oz, "a little belter".

Evans and Billie, now 26, shocked the nation in 2001 when they married in Las vegas after dating for six months. After separating in 2004, they divorced in 2007 and were both remarried soon after.
