Simon Pegg is to become a father for the first time.

Off the Pegg: Simon announcing Duffy's award
The 39-year-old actor, famed for his role in zombie comedy Shaun Of The Dead, exclusively told the London Lite that his wife of four years, Maureen, is due to give birth in June.
Speaking backstage after last night's Brit Awards, he said: "My wife is five months pregnant. We haven't announced it yet as we want to keep it hush-hush.
"I'm hoping for a baby girl , but I really don't mind what we have. We're thinking of having it in America as the baby will then have dual citizenship."
Pegg is already carving out a Hollywood career, with roles in Steven Spielberg' s upcoming The Adventures Of Tintin and as Scotty in the Star Trek prequel.
At the Brits ceremony in Earls Court he presented Duffy with one of her three awards - for best British female - and sat at Coldplay's table. He has been close friends with frontman Chris Martin since they met at a gig in 2000, and Pegg is godfather to Apple, Martin's daughter with his wife Gwyneth Paltrow.
Speaking about the birth of his own child, Pegg, who arrived at the awards with his Shaun Of The Dead co-star Nick Frost, added: "I'm really looking forward to it. It's going to be amazing."
