One-hour op as cancer spreads to Jade's brain

She was in theatre for an hour yesterday to improve her quality of life as she prepares to die.
Today, as the 27-year-old Big Brother star was being cared for in a hospice near her Essex home, her husband of nine days, Jack Tweed, 21, was in court for a second day, facing an assault charge.
Jade left the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea in a wheelchair yesterday, drawing heavily on a gas and air cylinder to numb the pain. She was taken to the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital where surgeons operated for a second time to remove a blockage in her bowel that had her weeping in agony. Her spokesman, Max Clifford, said: "It should enable her to be mobile again.
"Then Jade can do the thing she desperately wants to do, to spend time with her boys."
American chat show giants Oprah Winfrey and Larry King are reportedly hoping to interview Jade before she dies.
She hopes to make it home this weekend for a fancy-dress christening for her sons Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, and wants to go as a boiled egg.

Really sad. I do not know how I would handle a terminal diagnoses and I am disabled without proper medical insurance. At least she will not be financially wiped out due to her illness as I have as America has no NHS. I hope she passes peacefully and without pain.

At what Cost ?
I think brave Jade Goodie thinking of her children financially is admirable, but now having their pictures constantly in the public eye can set up all sorts of problems in their future. And can they ever lead a normal life because of the public exposure at such a young age. I think their father should now try to give them a more private life away from the spotlight and any predators who may attempt crime against them for financial gain.

bless you jade, i keep hoping it will get better for you this is so wrong. You are an inspiration to alot of people and you have been one for me too. You have proved that whatever upbringing you experience, no matter how u have always hd to take care of others, you have been a true success in this life by simply being YOU x and you have shown to other women on their own out their that you can be independant and successful and be a brilliant mum. This is so terribly sad and I feel for her boys. This whole thing is tragic. I cannot believe some of the hateful remarks about her on other message boards like imdb. This woman is dying and she is in pain and she will be leaving 2 young boys motherless.

The circus around her has made me lose all respect for the press and people who use it to make a living, including the lady herself . First I thought OK let her make money for her children, but then saw she was leaving her £700,000 house to her new thug husband, not her children. She is actually a multi-millionaire, so just out for more money. I have great sympathy for cancer sufferers (have lost family members to it), but find being force-fed all this about one person on a daily basis on the front pages just bizarre. She is brave but so are a lot of other people. It has become a sick peep show. I think the type of press coverage she is receiving currently will turn what were sympathetic people off. And please dont say I am a horrible person, I actually could not sleep for a couple of days when I first heard her condition was terminal, so I have great sympathy about that and would not wish it on anyone so young.

I am sorry for her, and understand why using the media is the way she wants to raise money for her kids -but does seeing the minute by minute breakdown - do anything about how to die in dignity. The good thing I guess is people are so scared of death being confronted with it in this well - brings people closer to the realities. But adds an extra sadness - I suspect we are not hoovering up this news out of a need to be more humane.

Please please please stop reporting this. You are going to end up putting the fear of god into anyone who has cancer, and those whose cancer may actually not be as bad as Jade's will be terrified unnecessarily.
As Sorraya says, she probably doesn't know what is going on, and she needs a bit of dignity in her last days, or at the very least her sons do (what will they go through when they're older and see these reports?)
She may have courted the publicity but we need to step back now. Otherwise it's beginning to feel like rubber necking.
