Sorry but I still travel Posh, David

Updated 13:19pm on 10 Mar 2009

The Beckhams had dinner with AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini... but it was a lifestyle of two halves at the end of the evening.

Stepping out: Posh travels in style

As David and Victoria went straight to their waiting chauffeur-driven limo, Maldini and his wife Adriana drove away from Milan's La Briciola restaurant in their little white Fiat 500.

Limo-seen: Posh and Becks in the limo...

...Maldini's tiny Fiat

I agree, it shows A LOT more class to not care who chooses to judge your choice of transport than the Jones's who wouldn't be seen dead in something so pedestrian in case of getting a bad image. It's all about image for the Beckhams, which to be fair, is their choice and at least they're creating an employment opportunity by paying for a chauffeur! People like this keep pumping money into the system - it filters down eventually.

Not sure what 'class' has to do with it but I would have thought that if the Maldini's were hounded by the press in the way the Beckhams are then they may chose a different mode of transport also.

And its their money isn't it so its up to them how they use it I would have thought?????

And who cares anyway, two gorgeous men in one news story - result!

She might still travel posh, but the Maldini's are the ones showing true class by being normal and driving a normal cute car. If they can do it when Maldini is a god in Italy, there's absolutely no reason the Beckhams need to be chauffer driven ..
