Heartbreak as Jen 'is dumped' by lover again

Unlucky-in-love star Jennifer Aniston has finally come to terms with her split from Brad Pitt - only to face further heartache as her relationship with John Mayer comes to an end. The Friends star had been dating musician Mayer for a little over a year and appeared to be smitten with each other - if their displays of affection during the Oscars was anything to go by. Posing arm in arm backstage, many viewed their attendance as their way of announcing that they were stronger than ever.

But now Mayer, 31, has called time on their rocky romance for the second time.

According to US reports, soon after Jennifer returned from Europe - where she was promoting her latest film Marley & Me - the pair "Had some disagreements and decided to not continue to see each other".

Jennifer, 40 , now has a number of high- profile break-ups behind her - although it looks like she may have predicted a split when she said in a recent interview "whoever said that every relationship has to last forever? That's hoping for too much".

Unfortunately for the Hollywood star, the lastest spilt will leave her wide open to cruel jibes.

On social networking site Twitter, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton said: "Now that she's single - again! - whom should Jennifer Aniston date next? I say Marley, the dog!"

He then sent her ex a message saying: "I Knew you would dump Maniston again!"

Ouch! This is not the first time the pair have split. Last year, the pop rock singer held an impromptu press conference outside his gym in New York, where he said: "I ended a relationship to be alone because I don't want to waste somebody's time if something's not right.'
