Michael Ball, Britain's leading musical theatre star, multi-platinum recording artist, broadcaster and Olivier Award winner is celebrating 25 years in music and theatre.

To honour the anniversary he has released a collection of favourite songs and newly recorded tracks titled Past and Present – The Very Best Of Michael Ball.

In this exclusive interview he tells the Lowdown's Amira how the album came about, what has been the highlight of his last 25 years and why running a mini cab firm could replace his Hairspray days...
