Neeson's family and close friends join in emotional farewell

Liam Neeson shared an emotional moment with his mother-in-law Vanessa Redgrave at the funeral of his wife Natasha Richardson.

The actor, who was one of the pallbearers, put his arm around the veteran actress as they said farewell to her daughter yesterday at St Peter's Episcopal Church in Millbrook, New York state.

Close friends: Holly Hunter with Timothy Dalton and Alan Rickman

Mourners at the private funeral included actor friends Alan Rickman, Holly Hunter and Timothy Dalton. Richardson, 45, died last week after a skiing accident.
