Could Peaches Geldof be ready to move on from her estranged husband Max Drummey? We hear the 20-year-old has been getting " very close" to Lightspeed Champion star Dev Hynes since meeting the singer last month.

The pair met on a video shoot and have been in constant touch ever since.

Dev now lives in New York, and Peaches has just returned to the city after her recent trip to London.

They met up with each other as soon as she got back, with pals saying they have been frequently hanging out together.

One said: "There is definitely a chemistry between the pair. They have very similar interests, including their taste in music and art house movies.

"They met while shooting a video together for Nylon, the magazine Peaches writes for, at the Comic Convention in New York in February.

"They got on like a house on fire and although the relationship has yet to turn physical, it looks like it could be on the cards."

Peaches and Dev hooked up at the weekend to watch a cult movie together.

She recently revealed on website Twitter: "Dev just made me watch Tommy Wiseau's seminal cult classic The Room. He has seen it 37 times. It is the worst/best movie I have ever seen."

The Room is a black comedy about relationships and how people can betray and lie to the ones they love. Hmmm. Dev - if you're trying to romance a lady, might we suggest Dirty Dancing or Pretty Woman next time?

In other Peaches news, she has been telling everyone that she's developed a crush on This Morning host Phillip Schofield in a running joke with her pal Fifi Brown.

Her Twitter account reveals: "Had a dream last night that Schofe was Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic and I was Kate Winslet... It was amazing. Schofe, I'm flying!"
