Osbournes' comeback is slated

Updated 13:22pm on 1 Apr 2009

The latest TV show featuring the Osbourne family has been torn to pieces by the critics. The already heavily edited Osbournes: Reloaded premiered on US broadcaster Fox last night and was immediately panned. One Fox affiliate in Florida even refused to air it.

White Sabbath: Ozzy Osbourne doused by a foam gun and foul mouthed Sharon

The show featured the usual Osbourne clichés - foul mouthed tirades from Sharon and a juddering turn from Ozzy. Other sketches included a blindfolded male audience member being forced to kiss a pensioner, Ozzy and his daughter Kelly as fast-food workers throwing snacks at drive-through customers and Ozzy in a leotard dancing to the Flashdance hit What A Feeling. At the end, audience members were rewarded for their patience by being doused in foam by the Black Sabbath star. A review in Newsday said: "Shows like this will make you feel sad for the human condition."
